After the founding Summer Cup, Seven League moves into its first full regular season. The teams are confirmed, the opening fixtures are published and Sportplatz Landauer is ready for the first league kick-off on Monday, 14 September.
Seven League Basel is officially set
The first full Seven League season is ready. Ten clubs will launch the competition in Basel, with the full calendar now available in the Match Center.

Free Agents keeps connecting players with teams
The community has grown from open football sessions into a real route into the league. With squads still being completed, players without a team can continue to connect with clubs looking for additional options.
The referee team is set for opening week
César Galera, Fabio Paonessa and Samuel Mc'Kenzie form the current referee group for Seven League Basel, with assignments already linked to the opening fixtures.
BG FC remain the first champions in Seven League history
Before the league came the founding Summer Cup: five teams, one day at Landauer and a 1–0 final win over FC Sportfreunde that put BG FC into the history books.

What is happening now.
The build-up phase is over. Seven League now has a live competition, a digital player ecosystem, a growing partner network and the first steps of a wider Swiss expansion strategy.
The Rewards Hub launches with real player milestones
Achievements now range from early milestones such as 5 Match Club and First MVP through to Hat-Trick Hero, MVP Elite and season-long Legendary targets. Selected unlocks are connected to experiences and offers from Seven League partners.
Landauer moves from founding event to league home
Sportplatz Landauer hosted the first Summer Cup and now becomes the home base for the first Seven League Basel regular season, with league matches scheduled across Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Three referees join the first league rotation
The opening matchdays will be handled by César Galera, Fabio Paonessa and Samuel Mc'Kenzie. Referee assignments are being integrated directly into the Match Center so match information stays in one place.
Partners become part of the player experience
Lanbisyon, GYYM Health & Fitness and VR City Basel are now integrated into the Rewards ecosystem, connecting football achievements with equipment offers, fitness experiences, cryosauna sessions and VR rewards.
Zürich, Lausanne and Lucerne enter the expansion conversation
Seven League is evaluating interest beyond Basel with a possible next wave of competitions from March 2027. Formats, venues and costs are still being assessed, with the current focus on understanding where enough teams are ready to build the next league.
The Summer Cup remains chapter one
BG FC became the first champions, Pablo Verdes was named tournament MVP and the first Best 7 was selected. That one-day competition established the visual identity, matchday atmosphere and player-first storytelling now carried into the league.
