The format is designed to feel like a proper competition without asking amateur players or employees to build their lives around football.

Seven League Basel combines a regular league with additional cup-style fixtures across the season. Matches are organised in fixed weekday windows at one consistent Basel venue.
More than showing up for a weekly game.
Every match feeds into the competition around it: standings, player profiles, goals, cards, MVPs, achievements, rewards and season recognition.
Fixtures, results, league table, player profiles, statistics, disciplinary records and MVP recognition are kept together online.

Structured fixtures and refereed matches give the competition clear standards from week to week.
MVPs & awards
Strong performances can be recognised through match MVPs, Best 7 selections and season honours.
Achievements
Players and teams can unlock performance milestones connected to gifts, discounts and partner rewards.

Seven League Basel is open to amateur football teams and company teams. You do not need to be an established club to take part.
Existing amateur teams, new groups and friends who want a structured competition can register directly for Seven League Basel.
Companies can enter a team under their organisation and compete in the same Seven League environment alongside other Basel teams.

Seven players
Seven players are on the pitch for each team, including the goalkeeper.
50-minute matches
Two 25-minute halves with a short half-time interval.
Rolling substitutions
Teams can rotate registered players throughout the match within the competition rules.
Registered players
Only players registered to the team may take part in official Seven League fixtures.

When does Season 26/27 start?
The Basel season starts on 14 September 2026. Team registration is open until 11 September.
Where are the matches played?
Seven League Basel is based at Sportplatz Landauer, giving teams one consistent home venue for league and cup fixtures.
What are the match windows?
Monday 19:00–21:00, Tuesday 17:00–19:00 and Thursday 17:00–19:00.
How much does the season cost?
The total team fee is CHF 2,300. A CHF 300 reservation forms part of that total fee.
Can company teams participate?
Yes. Seven League Basel welcomes both amateur teams and teams representing companies or organisations.
Do we need a complete final squad before registering?
No. Register the team first; the final player setup can be completed as the season organisation is prepared.
Is there a winter break?
Yes. The outdoor competition pauses from November through February and returns for the spring phase from March to June.
Can I join without a team?
Yes. The Free Agents platform and community matches are designed to help individual players meet others and find a team.
