The Basel season is already underway. The Winter Cup opens a new door for teams who missed out, and a new challenge for those already playing. Friends, clubs and company teams are welcome.

Your winter opener
A standalone cup on 1 November 2026 at LE FIVE Saint Louis. You can enter the cup without joining the league.
Indoor. With walls.
An enclosed pitch with walls in play and no normal touchline outs. Referees are part of the competition.

With 10 players.
For example, a squad of 10 splitting the cup fee equally pays CHF 19 per player. The fee remains CHF 190 per team.
Get your squad together and register by 31 October. Tell us your team name and a contact person, and we will guide you through the next steps.

If your team goes on to play the Winter League, we deduct the full CHF 190 cup fee from the CHF 990 league price.
Winter League starts on 3 November and runs through February, with 15 guaranteed league matches. Cup matches are separate from those 15 league matches.

When and where is the cup?
On 1 November 2026 at LE FIVE Saint Louis. Registration is open until 31 October 2026.
How many games will we play and how long are they?
The cup schedule, tournament structure, match duration and number of games per team will be communicated before the event. The 15 guaranteed matches apply to the Winter League, not the cup.
Is the CHF 190 price per player?
No. CHF 190 is the total entry fee for the whole team.
Do we have to join the Winter League?
No. You can play only the Winter Cup for CHF 190 per team. If you join the league afterwards, that payment is credited in full and CHF 800 remains to pay.
Can a new team join?
Yes. Existing clubs, groups of friends and company teams are welcome. You do not need to have played in Seven League Basel.
